A Socratic AI tutor for secondary students, ages 12–18. It asks until the student gets there. The free tier runs entirely on the device: no internet, no account, nothing leaves the tablet. Private beta, autumn 2026.

We think the future of everyday AI is local. What runs on the device is private by architecture, costs nothing per user, works without a connection and depends on nobody's pricing policy. It also has a ceiling, and we measure it: our edge-inference benchmarks are published openly with a DOI.
Our work sits at the intersection of small models, quantisation and pedagogy. The problem we care about is making a 2-billion-parameter model refuse to give the answer to a teenager who asks three times — and making it run on the tablet that teenager already has.
We develop LEXA with technical advisory from the BSC AI Factory and take part in Google for Startups. Blyzai, S.L. is based in Barcelona.
We also work with a small number of companies on applied AI.
